About imoves
Meet our founder
Imogen Buxton-Pickles
Dance and fitness have always been Imogen's passion. Her professional credentials include a Sports and Exercise Science BSc (Hons), YMCA FIT Tutor, and a Teaching Level 5 OCR. She holds numerous YMCA FIT Qualifications, including Full Personal Trainer Award and Exercise to Music Award, and is a Certified UK presenter for the New York City Ballet Workout. She also has International Dance Teachers’ Association certifications in modern jazz dance.
Early in her career, Imogen worked one-to-one with UK teachers, helping them deliver better dance and PE lessons to kids aged 4-11. She focused on coaching and supporting teachers to give them the skills and confidence to teach dance themselves.
To reach more teachers, Imogen created imoves Primary Dance in April 2010,putting her teachings online. A full PE programme followed, along with popular Active Schools resources. Now, educators worldwide have instant access to everything needed for engaging and fun PE and Active Learning classes, allowing them to teach confidently without being experts.

How much does Primary Dance Online CPD cost?
We understand that school budgets can be tricky. We keep our prices low, so we can support as many schools as possible.
Individual Delegates = £99.00 plus vat
Whole School Training (up to 10 delegates) £450.00 plus vat
Whole school Training (up to 10 delegates) PLUS the imoves dance resource package (1 year subscription) = £750.00 plus vat
Can someone help me if I need support?
Absolutely. Imogen well be at hand to support you with any questions you may have.
I’ve no dance experience. Will this help me?
Yes! Primary Dance CPD has everything you need. It’s suitable for all teachers, even if you’ve got no previous dance experience and two left feet!
How long will we be able to use the resources?
The teacher portal is available to you for how ever long you need it for. There is no expiration date.
Are the resources suitable for all primary school kids?
Yes. Our Primary Dance CPD has been created with all primary-aged children in mind, including both KS1 and KS2.
What equipment & space will we need to use the resources?
All you need to use the imoves CPD resources is access to the internet and a large screen in the hall if you want to use them to deliver your practical activities.
