About imoves
Meet our founder Imogen Buxton-Pickles
Dance and fitness have always been Imogen's passion. Her background includes a Sports and Exercise Science BSc (Hons), YMCA FIT Tutor, Teaching Level 5 OCR, and multiple YMCA FIT qualifications, plus International Dance Teachers’ Association certifications in modern jazz dance.
Early in her career, Imogen worked one-to-one with UK teachers, helping them deliver better dance and PE lessons for children aged 4–11 and building their confidence to teach dance themselves.
To reach more teachers, Imogen created imoves Primary Dance in April 2010, putting her teaching online. A full PE programme followed, plus popular Active Schools resources. Now educators worldwide can access engaging, fun PE and Active Learning content — without needing to be dance experts.

How much does Primary Dance Online CPD cost?
We keep prices as low as possible to support more schools.
- Individual delegates: £74.00 plus VAT (includes 25% off until 31st July 2026)
- Whole school training (up to 10 delegates): £450.00 plus VAT.
- Whole school training (up to 10 delegates) plus the imoves dance resource package (1-year subscription): £750.00 plus VAT.
Can someone help me if I need support?
Yes. Imogen will be on hand to support you with any questions and help you apply the training to your own classes.
I’ve no dance experience. Will this help me?
Absolutely. Primary Dance CPD is designed for all teachers, including complete beginners. Even if you feel you have two left feet, you’ll get the structure and support you need.
How long will we be able to use the resources?
The teacher portal remains available for as long as you need it. There’s no fixed expiration date on your access.
Are the resources suitable for all primary school kids?
Yes. Primary Dance CPD has been created for all primary-aged children, covering both KS1 and KS2.
What equipment & space will we need to use the resources?
You’ll just need internet access and a large screen in the hall if you want to use the resources to deliver practical activities with your class.
